Dining- Winery-Events
The successful candidate will work as part of the Inn's main al a carte dining room, garden side and vineyard dining; This position can also expand skill set for other front of house operations should the candidate be interested.
Servers:
Welcoming and seating guests to the Inn and to the dining room
- Knowledgeable in the dining room menu, Schatz Winery wine and tasting notes.
- Taking guests’ food and beverage orders with an awareness of guest allergies and how to adjust menu offerings accordingly.
- Prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Providing a dining experience beyond just order taking with customer service being a high priority at all time.
- Cleaning tables, sweeping floors and ensuring the dining space is clean, tidy for guests at all times.
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitized work stations at all time and ensure stations are stocked and well maintained for the next shift
- End of shift cleaning, providing notes on events for AM shift supervisor
Additional Job Functions:
- Move tables and chairs whenever necessary.
- Assist wherever needed should last minute issues arise
- Take out the garbage and recycling.
- Other duties as noted in the server manual.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 35 per week
Salary: From $15.50 per hour
