Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the shop (detailing and automotive service & repair) ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery
- Manage a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies used for both automotive detailing and service, ordering as needed to ensure availability for repairs
- Coordinate with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on repair progress, and build out quotes for jobs
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a positive customer experience
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing accurate change
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for business growth and improvement and ensure sales targets are being met each week.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and address their needs
- Experience in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
