About Us
TD Bank Group’s Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) Head Office function is responsible for enabling and supporting a comprehensive suite of deposit, payment and lending products and advice through a network of 1,060 branches, 3,401 automated teller machines (ATM), mobile specialized salesforce, and telephone, mobile and internet banking services.
CPB Head Office is comprised of three core areas:
CPB Product Management team manages a full range of financial products and services while thinking about the end-to-end customer journey.
Personal Savings and Investments – robust line-up of chequing, savings, and investment products
Real Estate Secured Lending – lending products for homeowners secured by residential properties
Personal Lending – diverse range of unsecured financing products
Credit Cards and Payments – debit, digital money movement, payment plans and proprietary, co-branded, and affinity credit cards
Chief Operating Officer – Operations is responsible for end-to-end Retail banking operation functions and capabilities across multiple CPB products and services. We collaborate closely with business partners to deliver a legendary experience to distribution teams and customers. Operations is enhancing and enriching how TD supports its customers by delivering specialized and advisory customer and partner support to Real Estate Secured Lending, Personal Lending, Credit Cards, Business Banking, Everyday Banking, Wealth, and Personal Savings & Investments. We deliver specialized credit advice, underwriting and fulfillment of key processes.
Personal Banking Delivery Excellence (PBDE) team supports thousands of Branch Banking colleagues in more than 1,000 branches across Canada and is dedicated to building customer and colleague confidence. The team is focused on helping Branch Banking colleagues lead with proactive, personalized advice that is unique to every customer’s individual circumstance, to meet more customer needs. PBDE supports continuously innovating TD capabilities, products and services, and streamlining internal customer processes.

About the Program – AirTD Product Owner, CPB Leadership Rotation Program
The Product Owner track in the CPB’s Leadership Rotation Program, AirTD provides you with an immersive 18-month experience into our world of product management, operations management, operational risk management, banking operations, banking modernization, shared services and product and services fulfillment.
You will rotate across the three core areas of CPB Head Office in distinct areas approximately every six months to learn, grow, and add lasting value.

Each rotation will prioritize building critical experiences and core capabilities to operate as a Product Owner in a fast-paced agile setting. You will be gaining multi-disciplinary capabilities such as product research, design and innovation, including delivering financial results (pricing, margin, volume, etc.), industry analysis, design thinking, leading strategy, working in pods, leading cross functional colleagues to deliver on outcomes that address customer and market trends.
As you progress through the program, you will gain valuable experiences in strategic decision making and industry leading product development, management and operational risk management practices, allowing a holistic view of product management in an agile environment.
You will be supported by a team of colleagues, peers, advisors, and Executive mentors to ensure your growth, development, and success.
Accountabilities in the rotations:
- Operate in a lean and agile mindset to produce faster outcomes that are scalable and efficient for customers and colleagues
- Provide strategic input on product roadmaps through the lens customers need and shape experience design
- Champion technology and digital solutions and manage change impacts by documenting, communicating, and training colleagues and stakeholders
- Research and identify opportunities to address material operational risk practices through process re-engineering, design, mapping, etc.
- Represent CPB on cross functional/product working groups, projects, and forums
- Work with business partners on strategic initiatives as well as BAU product owner activities
- Liaison between internal stakeholders (technology, product / group owners, project teams, business, finance, risk, etc.) external advisors (vendors, regulators, etc.) where appropriate
- Managing and prioritizing multiple projects, working independently and in teams with discretion and confidentiality
- Advise and present to senior management and influence outcomes in customer journeys
- Invest in personal development and growth; you value and seek constructive feedback

You take the initiative and are passionate about systematic inputs, transformation, processes and using technology to advance efficiencies and output. You have innovative perspectives, and you are eager to share them with senior management and collaborate with colleagues to make them real.
Job Requirements
- At least 7 years’ experience post-undergraduate degree with increasing responsibilities in a related field (Technology, Digital, Product Design, UX Design, Mobile, Consulting, Product Mgmt., etc.)
- Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework and with applicable tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- You have and/or are completing a Graduate Degree within the last year (Technology, Computer Engineering, Business, Risk, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, etc.)
- Record of excellence in academics balanced with a range of extracurricular activities
- Active involvement with the community in leadership roles
- Customer-facing experience and passionate about enhancing their experiences
- Demonstrated success in leading people and diverse teams with humanity
- Values building a high performing fun culture while driving towards outcomes and OKR
- Resilient influential change agent willing to take calculated risks and present ideas to Executives
- Solid business acumen and driven to deliver customer and colleague needs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and you thrive in a fast-paced dynamic team environmen
- Excellent communication skills; to write, present and to explain complex technical issues simply
- Flexible, self-directed, organized; work effectively independently and with partners
- Analytical, comfortable with voluminous data (MS Access, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.)
- Eye for process simplification, automation, and innovation; values productivity
- Strong technology user; adopts and can learn new tools quickly (AI, ChatGPT+, etc.
- Understanding of financial products, operations engineering, banking operations / platforms
- Able to work conceptually and translate to implementation for daily tasks as well as project work
- Professional certification, designation are assets (e.g.., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, Scrum, etc.)
