Customer Service Representative
Akran Marketing is an award-winning, customer-driven branding company serving clients across North America, with its corporate office based in Ottawa.

Primary responsibilities: Perform customer service duties 75% of the time and warehouse duties 25% of the time.
Customer Service Duties:
- Research products to suggest to clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Create quotes for customers using basic math skills.
- Answer product questions and provide information about products and services.
- Create and maintain customer information in the database.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, and following up to ensure resolution.
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive incoming packages and verify contents against purchase orders
- Pick and package outbound shipments according to established procedures
- Organize boxes in the warehouse to ensure efficient use of space
- Ensure all shipment requirements are met, including proper labelling and documentation
Preferences:
- Bilingual in English and French
- Good basic math skills
- Strong multitasking ability
- Passionate about marketing. Experience in the promotional or branding industry is an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a warehouse or customer service role is preferred
Remuneration:
- This is an entry-level position within the company.
- Depending on experience, we offer more than others.
- Future growth with the company with potential earnings of 5 to 6 figures per year.
