Environmental Services in the Hospital has an opportunity for a


HOUSEKEEPING AIDE, CASUAL


SEIU Service Hourly Pay Rate: $24.7100 - $25.2300


The Environmental Services Department in the Hospital consists of Housekeeping, Linen and Laundry, and other Support Services, for our clients in the Hospital.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cleans and disinfects patient and resident rooms
  • Cleans and disinfects washrooms
  • Empties waste receptacles
  • Sweeps and mops floors
  • Cleans and disinfects nursing stations, clinical and non-clinical spaces, and public areas
  • Office cleaning
  • Vacuums carpets
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Current High school completion or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with the elderly is an asset
  • Effective customer service, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team

Total Compensation
This is a unionized position with SEIU Service


  • Hourly Range: $24.7100 - $25.2300
  • 4% Vacation
